Brendan's 8th birthday party

Brendan wanted a surfing party for his birthday, so we went to Discovery Island and I think all of the kids had a good time. Best of all, I didn't have to do a thing... just show up and watch the kids have fun!

Brendan's baptism pictures

I am so proud of Brendan's decision to get baptized! We have been trying to find a day to do his pictures outside, but it has been like 105+ degrees everyday and he would melt in a black suit. Therefore, we just decided that we would have to get up at the crack of dawn and head over to Lake Robinson before it got too hot. So thanks to Josh's help/support, and Daelyn and Cameron staying out of the way, and Brendan's cooperation (kind-of), we were able to get his baptism pictures done :)

We love you SO much Brendan and we are very proud of the sweet, and handsome (both inside and out) little man you are!!!

Our first "Independence" Day spent independently

We celebrated the fourth of July in South Carolina, with no family but each other. We did some daytime fireworks as a family.

But don't worry we found some fun neighbors to celebrate with , and boy do they know how to put on a show :)
