Egg Hunt :)

The kids had a fun time at our community/neighborhood Egg hunt. They loved finding all the eggs, eating the donuts and muffins, and meeting the "real" Easter bunny :)

The boys came up with a leprechaun trap all on their own. Cameron wrote in pen, "gold in hir". Brendan wrote in green and corrected Cameron's "hir" to "here" and then wrote "enter". The bin has gold and green objects under it to attract a leprechaun.

Daelyn was worried about the leprechaun so she wrote him a note to warn him about the trap, and told him that she didn't want his gold.... just to be his friend :)

Well, they didn't trap a leprechaun, but one definitely came to the house and left a note and some goodies for the kids.

Then we had a St Pattys Day breakfast fit for a leprechaun :)

Green glazed cinnamon rolls...... mmmmmmmmmmm!
Then we spent the day planting flowers and working/ playing outside in the sunshine :)

Great Wolf Lodge

Josh has been SO EXTREMELY BUSY lately with work. So..... he decided to surprise me and the kids with a fun weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge because he needed to get away, and we didn't mind getting away with him :)

We had no idea Josh was taking us to this resort. We just left right after Daelyn was done with her tennis lesson (yes, that is why she is still in her tennis clothes in some pictures :)

The kids were SO excited when they went inside (they didn't really know what it was when we pulled in because they had never been or never heard of it). But, once we walked in and they found out that it had a MagiQuest inside and through out the entire resort, and a water park inside, and a huge arcade, and restaurants, and spas, and craft centers, stores (they were excited about the candy store, the icecream store, and the stuffing station -like build-a-bear), miniature golf....... tons of fun stuff!!!

And yes, Daddy packed their magic wands and it didn't take them long to get them "powered up full of magic" and they were off on quests!


The kids loved the indoor water park with slides and wave pool. Sorry, I didn't get a lot of pictures the camera battery died and we were too busy playing and having fun in the water any way :)
Off to the Great Wolf stuffing station (build-a-bear or in this case for the boys it was build-a-dragon and for Daelyn it was build-a-wolf)
They had fun painting, doing sand art and coloring shirts :)

The kids had way too much fun at the arcade... Josh may have had too much fun too :)
