We decided to build a deck this spring. It was going to cost us five times the amount to hire someone to do it..... so we decided to do it ourselves (yes, we are in for a lot of work. But it will be worth it!!!). My favorite part was using the sledge hammer and bashing out the old steps :) Josh's favorite part is screwing in 24 screws per board on top ( he he he, j/k he HATES this tedious task). The kids are just enjoying being outside playing and "helping" us out.

Wow!! You guys got a ton done in the first day!!! So, I talked to Ashley smith, and she wants to get together with you and me when she is intown!! YEAH!!
